Master book club is voluntary.

Hey everyone. I get a lot of questions about what is called “The Master Book Club” so I am writing this to explain. Feel free to leave your comments.

Master books level 80 and below.

If you turn in these books you do not earn any DKP. Grenrick about once a month goes though all the master books and sends them to guild mates that are within 10 levels of these books. It’s a nice surprise to be working on a young toon and then receive a master book you can use. Thank you everyone that pitches these in. Books we get on lower level raids get put here also. YOU CAN request any of these books. No DKP points are required to get these books. Just ask for them.

Master books level 81+

Who do I pick to get the books? It’s a simple formula that I use. I used to wait for someone to send me an in-game mail to receive these books. What I am doing now is seeing how sent in the most books and then asking these people if they can use the book.

Babyevil a dirge sends in 1 master book

Avatox a dirge sends in 3 master books

If a dirge master book gets submitted take a wild guess who s going to get it?
That’s right, Avatox.

If both Babyevil and Avatox send in 2 books each. I will stick it on the broker under Grenrick and wait for one of them to send Grenrick in-game mail.

The spirit of the book club is to help those on the core raid force to be better. This does not mean you have to be on the core raid force to be part of the book club. You are part of the book club when you send in that first master book. I do request that for every master book you “purchase” you send one in to replace it. I keep a list of every level 81+ book gets turned in and every book that goes out.
What do I do with master books that no one can use? I sell them. I collect this coin and when I have enough I look at the master book club list. I figure out who has given the most books. Search the broker for master books for them and if I see a good deal I will send them the plat so they can buy a master books.

Another thing I request is DO NOT buy that 50 plat monk or bruiser book so you can get credit. This is not the spirit of the Master book club.

I really do not want to gear up alts with master books. I have sent a few off because they were not selling but I want to stay away from this.
